Whitney Hey
Whitney first became interested in going to law school when an interfamily conflict made a guardianship hearing necessary for her grandmother, and she attended the hearing as moral support.
Inspired by her own personal experience, Whitney’s goal is to help make the estate planning process as easy as possible for her clients, so that at the end of the day they feel confident that their wishes will be carried out if they become incapacitated and when they pass away.
Whitney graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2017 after completing the 2-Year Accelerated program.
After law school Whitney passed the July 2017 bar exam and began her work as an associate attorney for The Moller Law Group LLC where she practiced family law and began to hone her skills in probate, and trust and estate planning. She joined the Hammond Law Group team in January 2023.
In 2023 (with two weeks’ notice) Whitney adopted her son. Now that he is walking, they enjoy going to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, camping or otherwise exploring the wilds of Colorado with cousins and friends, and hiking with their standard poodle Dax (named for Jadzia Dax from Star Trek DS9.)
Whitney enjoys learning new skills and likes to search out classes for new hobbies. Among her current hobbies are attending a local knitting group, gardening, and stained glass.
