Hammond Law Group is a family business designed FOR families. We’ve been there, and we know how difficult these aspects of life can be.

Our founder, Catherine Hammond, experienced the difficult journey of caring for her mother with early-onset Alzheimer’s from the time Catherine was 22. Hammond Law Group was borne from the desire to help people navigate the most difficult moments in life. Our founder literally wrote the book on estate planning in Colorado, Planning Your Legacy.

It all starts with listening. When you meet with a Hammond Law Group attorney, we begin by asking you questions and listening to what’s important to you, not reciting complex legal information. That’s intentional.

Many of our clients come to us as a direct result of our firm’s commitment to educating consumers who may not otherwise understand their planning options. Every person and every family benefit from making informed choices about planning for their future; yet we have found that even basic planning information is hard to find in language that is easy to understand.

Hammond Law Group has conducted over 1000 free consumer workshops in the past 20 years, investing thousands of dollars and staff hours to make this information available to everyone.

Not only do we care, but we care about getting it right. Our attorneys average nearly three times the continuing education required by the State of Colorado.

We are always looking for ways to provide better estate planning and elder law services to our clients. While the law would allow our continuing education to be in ANY area of the law, we choose to focus all of our efforts exclusively in estate planning topics, taught by nationally recognized experts.
